What led to interest in Lucas Oil Off Road Racing?

Short course racing has appeared to be the pinnacle of off road motorsports since CORR brought the action to the west coast. I have been an avid desert enthusiasts for quite some time, but when I attended the M4SX Short course events, I decided that I wanted to be more than a spectator and get behind the wheel. SuperLite seemed like an obvious choice to get my feet wet. Well I jumped right into it purchasing one of the very first FPO SuperLite Chassis. I have been the leading driver ever since. For 2009, Lucas Oil Off Road Series included the SuperLite Division. I could not be happier with the new format and venue. This is exactly how I envisioned stepping up into professional motorsports.
